Scott Tilley was born in England in 1978 and currently lives in the East Midlands near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire,
He is 26 years old and he has been building and racing hovercrafts for 15 years. Along the way he has been very successful and has appeared on extreme sports documentary programs such as Extreme Machines on the Discovery Channel (European Satellite and Cable channel), Ultimate Speed Machines on Channel 5 (UK national channel), and local TV and news programs.
His Championship victories so far have been British National Champion in 1997 and runner up in 1999, 2000 & 2001. In 2000 he achieved 3 rd place in the World Championship. In 2001 and 2003 he achieved title of European Champion. Scott finally was recognised as the best; World Champion 2004, whilst competing in the Berlin round of the 2004 F3 season.
Following from these huge successes Scott then claimed the British F3 championship in 2005 before setting his sights on the the Formula 2 competition for 2006. |
